The biggest trend in home design these days is outdoor living, and Casa Design, Boston’s one-stop resource for modern interior furnishings and design, continues to lead the way with plans to expand their outdoor furniture display and open a new space dedicated to outdoor design in spring 2023.
The new space will be featured at Casa’s current location at 460 Harrison Ave., in the heart of Boston’s SoWa Art+Design district. Casa Design’s continuing growth reflects the neighborhood’s vitality, as new art galleries and design shops help transform the area into Boston’s new, go-to “design center” destination. The new showroom will cover 3,300 square feet and will be located on the street front, bringing Casa’s total space to 13,000 square feet, all filled with the best modern interior and outdoor looks from the finest brands.
The new outdoor showroom will feature leading brands like Kettal, Roda, Extremis, Tuuci, and Manutti, as well as introduce a new brand to Casa’s collections, Paola Lenti. With their beautiful, colorful looks winning awards and followers around the world, Paolo Lenti has achieved international recognition for their innovative textile design and manufacturing process, creating a range of unique and exclusive fabrics and rugs for interior and exterior use.
Since their introduction, pieces like the Linea chaise lounge, Island modular sofa, Aladdin chair, Crochet rug, and Rope wallpaper have received a host of international awards and been distributed in the most prestigious showrooms in Italy and worldwide.
Featured products in Casa’s new outdoor showroom will include Paola Lenti’s modular Harbour Sofa, designed by Francesco Rota, Victor Carrasco’s whimsical Orbitry swiveling armchair, and Elia Nedkov’s award-winning Kaba Sofa, all available in a wide range of fashionable colors and woven textiles made for indoor and outdoor use. Shoppers will also find the Italian maker’s striking Ombra parasol, an adjustable sunshade formed by two independent semi-circles, and other popular pieces.
The new showroom will also feature popular favorites from Spanish design house Kettal, including the aluminum-framed, slatted indoor-outdoor H Pavilion seating area, the colorful, modular Giro Collection, and more. Belgian maker Manutti’s Flex collection is another highlight, offering a variety of sofas, loungers, and tables that balance old and new elements with unique shapes and details adding timeless style. One of Casa’s bestsellers is the Hopper picnic table from Belgian brand Extremis, designed to offer greater ease, comfort, and streamlined good looks than the traditional version. Dutch brand Tuuci will also be showcased, with looks that can be found shading resorts and boutique escapes worldwide, along with striking seating options from Italian manufacturer Roda, including the Eden Sofa, Mamba Sofa, and Laze Lounge Chair.
Completing the outdoor experience are complementary outdoor speakers from Danish electronics pioneer Bang & Olufsen, a must-have for music lovers and design enthusiasts.
Comfortable, colorful, and created to enhance every aspect of outdoor living, Casa Design’s new outdoor collection is sure to be one of spring 2023’s most exciting displays.
